The amazing thing about it is, when you start to listen to your body and become aware of your needs, you start to look after yourself better, and life becomes easier. You sleep better, feel more at ease, and experience more love and joy in your life. Because deep down you know that looking after your own needs is a non-negotiable if you want to lead a happy and healthy life.   

So when did it become okay to ignore your most basic needs? There's a reason you're reading this, and we're sure it's no accident. ​

We want you to remember what it FEELS like to be CALM and PEACEFUL.

At THE SECOND SALON essential oils are at the heart of everything we do, and we see the value of finding ways to bring essential oils into our daily lives. We also like to practice a time-honoured routine of daily dry body brushing, self massage using nourishing body oils, and regular baths using our restorative bath soaks.

A simple yet very effective way to care for yourself is to incorporate self care into your daily bodycare routine. When done mindfully and with intention, we turn a mundane task into a beautiful ritual... bringing with it benefits to your mind, body, heart and soul. We;re also realistic. Life can be busy. Unpredictable. Hard. We're not suggesting an essential oil will solve all of life's problems. But sometimes it's the little daily things that make a massive difference.

You don't need to go to a salon. You can access a place of peace and calm at home, whenever you need it.
